A September sidewalk count after the camera went dark
On 22 Sep 2023 a few of us walked the old Oak Grove marks with notebooks instead of a livestream.
The line was short. The sidewalk still showed where people used to stand, a faint polish in the concrete from a year of waiting.
Dusty late-summer mats at the door collected the same grit the camera used to watch from above. Nobody needed a feed to see that the floor was doing overtime.
We logged the count, then went home. The useful lesson was ordinary: time the shop, keep the entry clear, and do not pretend a high-traffic threshold cleans itself.
